COMMITTEE FUNCTIONS
Membership Committee
Screen prospective members and educate as to ABC and BCoOK By-Laws. Compile a packet for members including Club roster, Constitution, history of the Club, copy of the Standard, dates of shows and suggested reading material on Boxers. Welcome letter can include information on what is expected of members, i.e. attendance at meetings, support of show financially (supporting entry, advertising in catalog, trophy donations), setting up and taking down rings and clean up.

Publicity/Advertising Committee
Obtain advertising for Spring / Fall show catalog and submit to Catalog Chairman on a timely basis. Obtain all free advertising available to Club and members.

Public Education Coordinators
The Public Education Coordinator works to educate the public about responsible dog ownership, the AKC, purebred dogs and our sport.

Trophy Committee
Select, purchase or make trophies for the Spring and Fall Specialties including ordering ABC plaque and ribbons. Bring trophies to shows and set up display table. Solicit trophy donations from members and friends of the club.

Ways & Means Committee
Responsibility is to create fund raising events for both the club and our rescue program.

Breeder Referral Contact
The Breeder Referral Contact are appointed by the club to provide referral services only. You are calling a member from our club who is eager to take the time to put you in contact with breeders who may have puppies available. You are not calling an office. Please respect time zones when calling these contacts. They may be away at dog shows or on vacation and may take a few days to get back to you.
