Membership Information
Membership is open to almost anyone who loves Boxers and supports the club’s goals. New members must agree to abide by the Club’s Constitution & Bylaws and ABC Code of Ethics, which have provisions against breeding - or in any way helping to fully register - a Boxer with more than one-third of its coat color being white.
While membership is to be unrestricted as to residence, the Club's primary purpose is to be a representative of the breed and exhibitor in its immediate area. There are four types of membership:
Individual Membership: This type of membership is open to all persons 18 years of age and older. Active members are entitled to all privileges of the club including voting and holding office.
Husband and Wife Membership: This type of membership is open to all married persons 18 years of age and older. Active members are entitled to all privileges of the club including voting and holding office.
Junior Membership: This type membership is open to all persons 8 to 17 years of age. The junior members will have no voting rights in the Club and will not act as Officers or Directors. Junior members may automatically convert to active membership upon reaching their 18th birthday.
Lifetime Members: After Twenty (20) years of membership in the Boomer Boxer Club, a member becomes eligible to attain status of a Life Member, which allows all the privileges of a member but will no longer be required to pay yearly dues.
In addition, no member may be under disciplinary action from the American Kennel Club or the American Boxer Club. All membership application information submitted will be verified by the Club Secretary.
