COMMITTEE FUNCTIONS
Advertising Committee
Obtain advertising for Spring / Fall show catalog and submit to Catalog Chairman on a timely basis.

Annual Awards Committee
To select recipient for the Gaines Good Sportsmanship Award and any other award applicable.

Catalog Committee
Obtain advertising from Advertising Chairman for Spring / Fall shows, compile and type catalog and have appropriate number printed and ready for show date.

Constitution and By-Laws Committee
To update the Club's Constitution and By-Laws. To make sure the Club is in compliance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the parent club.

Hospitality Committee
Plan all social functions of the Club, selection of location, menu, etc. Inform members as to what they will contribute to function.

Judges Committee
Make two or more recommendations for sweepstakes and regular class judges for both the Spring and Fall shows and ascertain availability of the judges approved by the Club

Membership Committee
Screen prospective members and educate as to ABC and Boomer By-Laws. Compile a packet for members including Club roster, Constitution, history of the Club, copy of the Standard, dates of shows and suggested reading material on Boxers. Welcome letter can include information on what is expected of members, i.e. attendance at meetings, support of show financially (supporting entry, advertising in catalog, trophy donations), setting up and taking down rings and clean up.

Program Committee
Obtain speakers, video tapes, movies, etc for programs at Club meetings. Suggest topics: breeding, nutrition, health, training and showing in both Obedience and Confirmation.

Public Relations Committee
Boxer Review reporter, to obtain all free advertising available to Club and members. Write and mail Boomer Rumor and "People are Talking About" ad in the Review. Obtain brags, info on new litters from members (at meetings or by mail).

Show Committee
To make all arrangements for show site, and complete reports to AKC and ABC pertaining to the show.

Special Projects / Fund Raising Committee
Direct Club in projects for fund raising.

Trophy Committee
Select, purchase or make trophies for the Spring and Fall Specialties including ordering ABC plaque and ribbons. Bring trophies to shows and set up display table. Solicit trophy donations from members and friends of the club.
